Jen Arnold, star of "Little Couple," announced earlier this month that she was free from cancer and currently in remission.
However, during her interview with Closer Weekly, Jen Arnold, 39, revealed that she is still feeling the effects of chemotherapy despite the fact that she's on her way to recovering completely.
"I'm still dealing with fatigue from chemo brain, and I try to get back into things like I was before cancer," Arnold shared. "It's hitting me that it's going to take a bit longer than I wanted it to."
Dr. Conception R. Diaz-Arrastia, Jen Arnold's doctor, confirmed that the actress will still be suffering some of the side effects of the therapy. However, the physician also added that the actress will "be feeling more like herself soon."
After the hospital staff discovered Jen Arnold was finally cancer-free, they held a small party for her. However, Arnold shared she "still wasn't feeling too good."
"We had a celebration at the hospital, which was a lot of fun," she said, also sharing that part of the celebration included eating cupcakes with her family.
After discovering she was completely healed, Jen Arnold now wants to concentrate on her loved ones and family, saying she is "ready for life to be boring, good or bad."
"I don't want any of this excitement," Jen Arnold said.
News of Arnold's condition broke out in December. Arnold was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of uterine cancer.
Arnold said the cancer was the result of a non-viable pregnancy in August 2013 when she discovered she was pregnant. However, when she came to the hospital for a checkup and an ultrasound, it was discovered that the baby didn't have a heartbeat.
Arnold further explained that after the doctors removed the embryo from her womb, the cells that remained triggered Stage 3 cancer. She started getting chemotherapy right after her diagnosis was confirmed.
Fans can witness Jen Arnold's cancer battle and recovery for themselves when the Season 6 of "The Little Couple" returns Mar. 4 on TLC.
