Last week's "Room 147" was quite heavy on mystery, this week, the hit CBS series is not going to take on a mysterious mission, but one that requires full attention as past enemies could be involved. However, this time around we won't be seeing Rick Castle and Kate Beckett side-by-side. Instead, we will witness Beckett going undercover on a very serious mission that demands all of her wits. She is to take on a Narcotics investigation, but there is something that she needs to do first, and it is to do an undercover job in hopes of not getting caught by the enemies - the most dangerous men in New York underworld.
In a sneak peek to Castle season 6 episode 17 titled "In the Belly of the Beast," we can see Captain Fowler briefing Beckett on her undercover mission. She is to act as though she is one of the low-level drug couriers to get more information about the drug ring. The catch though is for her not to talk to anyone about this special mission, not even to her husband-to-be Rick Castle. While Beckett's first task is to simply meet up with their agency's contact, it seems that she will be getting more than what she bargained for. The clip then shows a man pointing a gun at Beckett and then we can see Rick's girlfriend being tortured. Ouch! Will Rick Castle find out about this mission and save Beckett on time?
