Manny Pacquiao News: Freddie Roach Says Timothy Bradley Should Expect A Different Pacman

Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach is expecting a tough fight, but he gave a stern warning to Timothy Bradley, saying that he will see a different Manny Pacquiao in their rematch on April 12 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

In an interview with RingTV, Roach, who arrived in Los Angeles on Saturday to continue their preparation at the Wild Card Gym, told that Bradley should be ready for a "whole new ballgame" in their rematch.

"Please tell Mr. Bradley it's a whole new ballgame. Manny means business this time," Roach said.

Roach and Pacquiao are itching to get back at Bradley, who scored a questionable split-decision win during their WBO welterweight title showdown in June 2012.

While Pacquiao is looking for revenge, Bradley will look to earn the credit that he did not get when he defeated Pacquiao in their first showdown, but Roach guaranteed that it will not be that easy for the reigning champion.

Roach, who started their Wild Card Gym training camp on Monday, told ESPN that the former pound-for-pound king will go all out to avenge his defeat to Bradley and reclaim the WBO welterweight title.

"We have great sparring waiting for Manny. He wants that title back," Roach said. "If Bradley thinks he's going to see the same compassionate Manny he saw the first time they fought he is in for a very big surprise."

Strength and conditioning coach Justin Fortune is also back with Team Pacquiao after a falling out with Alex Ariza. And like Roach, Fortune assured that Pacquiao will be a different fighter compared to what he was during his last three fights - against Bradley, Juan Manuel Marquez, and Brandon Rios.

Fortune said that Pacquiao will be in the best shape of his life in his rematch with Bradley, adding that the cramps issue that slowed down Pacquiao in his previous fights will be addressed in training camp.

"Against Bradley, Manny will be strong and quick," Fortune told The Philippine Star. "There will be no problem with cramp issues, those will be addressed. He'll be in the best shape of his life."
