Floyd Mayweather arrested in Las Vegas is one of the circulating news reports that is getting a lot of buzz online lately. Many were stunned upon reading the said report, which was originally published by Huzlers.com. However, it was found out that the site itself revealed that it is "satire" by nature.
According to The Epoch Times, the report claiming that Floyd Mayweather got arrested in Las Vegas for the alleged orchestration of a murder and kidnapping was entirely fake. None of it ever happened despite Huzlers.com supporting details that even copied TMZ's prevous report.
"Huzlers was informed that early March 13th Floyd Mayweather was arrested from his home and is being charged for attempted murder and kidnapping," the article reads. Interestingly, the sentence was actually copied word-for-word from a TMZ report that was published in 2012. That time Mayweather was jailed for domestic battery.
The Epoch Times included that fans shouldn't have made that big of a deal out of the fake news since Huzlers.com has a disclaimer at the bottom of its webpage saying, "Huzlers.com is a combination of real shocking news and satire news to keep its visitors in a state of disbelief.
All in all, the multiple reports it has published including the one that claims Floyd Mayweather got arrested in Los Angeles are purely fake. One of its top "stories" on its webpage which talks about a "Wild Hogfish" is even notorious for being a long-running Internet hoax.
For fans who are wondering where the famous boxer is now given the fact that the "Floyd Mayweather arrested in Las Vegas" news was proven to be a hoax, he is actually busy preparing for his fight against Marcos Maidana, which is set to happen a few months from now.
