"Brittany Murphy poisoned" issue has resurfaced right away just after the announcement that the final movie of the dead actress is now on the list of the soon-to-be-released films.
Following the shocking death of the 32-year-old actress in 2009 which was reportedly due to a combination of pneumonia, iron deficiency and multiple drug intoxication. Just five month later, her husband, Simon Monjack, died of acute pneumonia and severe anemia.
Back then, upon the release of lab reports, the actress' father contested the findings and began to question whether Brittany Murphy was poisoned.
The idea that the actress may have been poisoned-to-death then gained a lot of attention from the public such that in 2013, the "Clueless" actress' mother attacked her Brittany's father for suggesting to the public that their daughter may have died from poisoning.
"I have no choice now but to come forward in the face of inexcusable efforts to smear my daughter's memory by a man who may be her biological father but was never a real father to her in her lifetime," Sharon Murphy told The Hollywood Reporter.
Brittany Murphy's mom further claimed that Bertolotti's (the actress' father) claims "are based on the most flimsy of evidence and are more of an insult than an insight into what really happened."
Meanwhile, a forensic pathologist denounced the claim and told CNN in November 2013 that the alleged poisoning of Brittany Murphy was "ridiculous" and "baseless."
On related news, it was revealed recently that Brittany Murphy's finale movie titled "Something Wicked" has been given the go signal for its big-screen release.
According to New York Daily News, the movie wrapped up just a few months following the shocking death of Brittany Murphy in December 2009, and now, about four years later, the actress' last movie is to debut on April 4.
"It is an additional responsibility, you do want her performance to be the best it can be, because unfortunately it's her last performance," writer and producer Joe Colleran said. "The first months of reviewing the footage and starting to put things together and then seeing her and hearing her voice, it's very emotional."
Murphy's last film "Something Wicked" is an R-rated thriller about an engaged young couple threatened by some dark secrets from their past.
Upon the announcement of the much-anticipated release of Murphy's film, conspiracy theorists brought up the issue that Brittany may have been poisoned by toxic mold in her home or that something sinister may have been plotted against her and her husband.
