Cowabunga Time! The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is coming out on cinemas this year. The new live action pack movie premier will be on August 8, 2014, which will be produced by Michael Bay, and directed by no other than Jonathan Liebesman (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre:The Beginning).
The movie will feature a full cast including, Megan Fox as April O'Neil, William Fichtner as the arch-enemy Shredder, and Alan Ritchson, Jeremy Howard, Noel fisher, and Pete Ploszek who will make up the awesome group of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Recently, the upcoming movie released its first trailer, showing off massive explosions, incredible CGI graphics, and a first look at the pizza-loving superheroes. The plot is almost the same with other superhero inspired films. The slicing, chopping, shelled troops are off to save New York City with the help of April O'Neil.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie will not be first of its kind, other versions of the film was also released in the past years. The bunch of characters originated from a comic book in 1984, and then was extended to a cartoon series. It has also reached into films, toys, video games, and general merchandises.
One interesting thing to look at, is the release of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figurine toys that was showcase at the recent Toy Fair 2014. The exhibit presented some significant changes from the old version of the previous turtle movie. A very noticeable feature from the Toy Fair's presentation of the toys is that, the turtles are not carrying their signature weapons, an entirely different concept than the new image ACToys posted showing a more equipped turtle.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle's enthusiast are already excited to see the full movie, most likely anticipating its release with a slice of pizza, and a couple of months wait.
