Good news for the third sex in United Kingdom! As gay couples already has the right to legally say "I do" to their same gender partners. A long anticipated law on same-sex marriage has been approved throughout the country in support for the equality demand of the third gender.
After the first gay marriages was sealed, Prime Minister David Cameron tweeted: "Congratulations to all same-sex couples getting married today - I wish you every possible happiness for the future."
This event is considered one of the most crucial moments of the country's history as rainbow flags were hung above London's government offices, described by a Conservative party leader.
United Kingdom will be joining other countries that has legalized gay marriage, while in some parts of the globe, gay marriage is still considered illegal, and practitioners will be prosecuted. Churches in England already agreed to conduct the gay ceremony with accordance with the new law.
The campaign fighting for equal rights among its citizens, straight or heterosexual, paved the way for the law to be sanctioned. Prime Minister David Cameron supported the act of gay marriage despite the strong opposition against him. Even the Church of England rejected the changes that were about to happen.
Gay marriage in England wishes to set an example for a much broader human rights to other nations. The event wants to convey countries like Russia, Nigeria, and Uganda, the belief that same-sex marriage is a right that can be adopted by any country.
Gay marriages that was done on other participating countries, will be accepted by some parts of the United Kingdom from its new law. They will recognize the marriage as true and binding under the legal system.
