The Voice UK series 3 end boosts sucessful run with two more seasons to follow.

The Voice UK 2014: An explosive ending for a sucessful run.

April 5 marked a first for the third season live finale of BBC One's The Voice. Jermain Jackson garnered the most public votes to became the first male winner in the show's history scoring the win for Team will.i.am.

Each Artist was given three songs to sing, Jackson beat out his fellow artists; Team Ricky Wilson's Christina Marie and Team Tom Jones Sally Barker with his strong line-up of songs which he began with Miley Cyrus' heartbreak anthem "Wrecking Ball". He later softened it out with Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory's "Pure Imagination", and took it back to the beginning with "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" from the Broadway musical hit Dreamgirls, which was his Blind Auditions song.

The series which began airing January 2014 boasted a bigger, better, more explosive season. Most Critics believed that the changes in format as well as with the introduction of two new couches, Kylie Minogue, and Ricky Wilson (replacing Jesse J, and Danny o'Donaoghue) and the two new presenters namely Emma Willis, Marvin Humes resulted in the Voice UK finally finding it's footing after struggling for the first two series. Michael Hogan from The Daily Telegraph called it "a leap forward," and that," the franchise has finally hit its stride"

Due to it's positive reception; averaging 8.9 million for the current run. BBC One has gone on and renewed the show for 2 more seasons.
