Randy Quaid crazy dispute against Carmel bond company American Surety for allegedly posting bail for the actor and his wife without their permission. The Hollywood celebrity and his wife where charge and arrested in 2010, for living in another person's house in California.
The lawsuit against American Surety was filed by the actor for being bailed by the bond company in two separate events. The first incident was on September 2010, when the couple Randy and Evgenia Quaid was accused of burglary for living without consent at the home of Warner Bros. Executive, Bruce Berman. Reports pointed out from the documents filed in Hamilton County Superior Court, that the actor was proving that Berman was not the real owner of the property, saying that his family who once owned the house has never given the deed of the property to the executive.
The couple argued that American Surety who posted bail costing $50,000 each for them was not authorized by the actor to do so in their behalf, following the case filed to the court on April 10.
The second incident also happened when the Quaid couple were arrested by immigration in Vancouver, Canada. Randy Quaid and his wife was scheduled to attend a court hearing but missed it on October 18, 2010, due to the incident a judiciary warrant of arrest was issued to them by a California judge. The couple insisted that there were no notifications sent to them about the court date.
American Surety again paid two $500,000 bail bonds for the couple which was forfeited after a month because the actor and his wife were not able to attend the scheduled hearing on Nov. 2, 2010. After that the couple denied any knowledge about the scheduled hearing and the bonds.
Randy Quaid and his wife is currently seeking justice on accounts for unspecified damages and emotional pain against Carmel bond company, American Surety. Randy Quaid and wife Evgenia, were also reported to had been in several legal troubles including a case against a California hotel for fleeing from a $10,000 bill.
