Gone Girl trailer and release date are finally here. That means the highly anticipated movie adaptation of the hit and Pulitzer-winning thriller novel by Gillian Flynn is going to hit theaters soon. Fans will surely love the debut 'Gone Girl' trailer more so the entire movie because it is everything what book fans would expect.
According to E! Online, the minute-long 'Gone Girl' trailer and release date have already been released by Fox. In the promotional clip, Ben Affleck could be seen portraying Nick Dunne, who is searching for his wife, Rosamund Pike.
For some unknown reason, Pike vanished on their fifth wedding anniversary. Now the catch here is that authorities and media are questioning his credibility and he is even regarded as the prime suspect of his own wife's disappearance.
Although the movie adaptation of the Pulitzer-winning novel may have unexpected twists, avid readers will surely be captivated by how the actors portray their characters.
In the 'Gone Girl' trailer, viewers will not really hear much dialogue between the characters. Instead, they are taken into the thrilling and suspenseful material through Richard Butler's (Psychedelic Furs) cover of Charles Aznavour's "She."
"I did not kill my wife," Dunne could be heard in the promotional clip. The trailer then closes with Nick Dunne saying, "I am not a murderer."
'Gone Girl' is directed by David Fincher, the same man who adapted and directed Stieg Larsson's 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo' in 2011.
Aside from Ben Affleck, the movie also stars Neil Patrick Harris, Missi Pyle, Patrig Fugit, Tyler Perry, Scott McNairy, Casey Wilson, Kim Dickens, and Emily Ratajkowski. 'Gone Girl' is produced by Reese Witherspoon, Leslie Dixon, and Bruna Panadrea.
