Justin Bieber deportation petition which was signed by thousands of supporters has been dumped by the White House, announcing that it will not be involved on the issue. Oppositions that are campaigning to deport the pop star who was recently arrested and charged for DUI and drag racing, was disappointed with the White House decision.
A petition was released last January of this year, urging the Obama administration to support the We the People website to deport Justin Bieber. The petition which was signed by thousand of individuals was rejected by the White House, replying with a statement saying, "Sorry to disappoint, but we won't be commenting on this one."
The movement to deport the famous pop star, became a trending issue gathering much attention for less fortunate immigrants in the United States who also faces deportation once they are convicted with a crime. Justin Bieber who is a citizen of Canada, currently has a performer's visa, allowing him to stay in the United States without deportation. The only way that he could be deported is if he would commit a crime that will sentence him for more than one year.
The petition to deport Justin Bieber points out that the country's pop culture is being represented mistakenly to the world by the drug abusing, unsafe, devastating, and reckless acts of the pop singer. They are urging the deportation and revocation of the pop star's green card, for grounds that he is a threat for the security of the people, and a bad influence to the children and youth of the country.
Signatures collected for the petition for Justin Bieber's deportation reached more than 100,000, which captured the attention of the Obama administration, and urged them to response on the issue. The White House made a statement that they will leave the matter to concerning departments that will handle the immigration issue.
