Marijuana contained in a candy was consumed by a man that caused him to kill his own wife by shooting her dead, based on accusations released by the Denver police. According to a released search warrant this Thursday, the victim was killed while she was on a phone call with 911.
Investigations are already being done by the Denver police about the incident, generally looking at the scenario that the accused was influenced from the consumption of marijuana that caused him to behave and commit the crime. The victim who died instantly from the gunshot promptly reacted to the circumstances and was able to call 911 to plead for help before she passed away. Other speculations were also considered about the response time it took for the officials to arrive at the scene was insufficient.
The victim who was known to be Kristine Kirk, at age 44, called 911 about the incident, telling the dispatchers that her husband, Richard Kirk, 47, consumed a candy which contains marijuana that he bought earlier. She also reported that her husband reacted badly to the effect of the pot candy, and having hallucinations which scares all three of their children.
Kristine Kirk who died from a gunshot wound also told the dispatchers to send police as quickly as they can, because Richard Kirk, the husband is already getting crazy and claiming that its the end of the world. The gunman asked for the gun that they have so that Kristine can shoot her.
The victim was shot in the head by her husband Richard Kirk based on the investigations made by police officials. They also found evidences on the origins of the marijuana candy. There are also signs that the gunman was under the influence of drugs during the incident, based on the observation of a detective who responded the crime scene. Richard Kirk also confessed and admitted to killing his wife, Kristine Kirk.
