Foot Locker store located at Knickerbocker Avenue close to Stanshope Street was disturbed by a shocking incident that involves a 15 year old boy being shot in the leg by an unknown gunman. The shooting was caused by an argument while waiting in line to buy a pair of sneakers.
The police officers and witnesses gave statements about the shooting incident that happened in front of a Foot Locker store in Brooklyn this Saturday. The boy who was spotted at the Knickerbocker Avenue waiting in line for the store to open, was shot in the leg at around 6:00 am, in the morning.
Some conclusions were reported about the shooting incident from the police officials who investigated the crime scene. Some witnesses said that there was an argument between the gunman and the teen victim while waiting in line at the Foot Locker store. The alleged gunman possibly got angry over cutting in line to get in the store, which resulted to a fight that led him to shoot the victim. After the shooting incident the gunman was seen fleeing from the scene, and was wearing a red hooded jacket.
A witness who refuse to identify himself gave a statement about the shooting incident saying that he heard two gunshots and started running. He heard people screaming and scattering all over the area where the incident happened, and he also saw the boy fell to the ground holding his leg.
The 15 year old boy who was shot in the leg was rushed to a nearby hospital at Woodhull. The police officials said that he suffered from gunshot wound that is not life threatening. People who are also waiting in line at the Foot Locker store said that they have been waiting in line since Thursday in order to purchase the latest &150 Air Jordan 11 snakeskin sneakers, and the Nike Air Foamposite Pro.
