Danica McKellar's boyfriend has been revealed by 'The Wonder Years' star's dancing partner Val Chmerkovskiy on last night's episode. Now, many are wondering about the identity of McKellar's boyfriend, and if there is not a single chance Danica will be dating Val outside the competition.
According to Examiner, Val Chmerkovskiy's statements on last night's DWTS 2014 episode were indeed shocking. For one thing, no one expected that Danica McKellar actually has a boyfriend, and it's not her dancing partner Val.
Val spoke up in one point of the episode, saying that he should thank Danica McKellar's boyfriend Scott for giving him the blessing of dancing with his girl. Val remarked that Danica's amazing boyfriend has been very understanding by allowing him to dance with such a beautiful person.
Several media outlets were quite surprised about Val's unintended revelation since it was actually the first time ever that someone talked about Danica McKellar's boyfriend. Prior to the big reveal, DWTS fans were actually rooting for Val to court Danica so that the two would end up as a couple.
Meanwhile, other rumors that surfaced since the start of this season's 'Dancing With The Stars' claim that Danica and Val may look like they are dating but they are not. The two are just simply building up and enjoying the chemistry they share on the dance floor and that's just about it.
Interestingly, during the unexpected partner-switch this season, where Val was made to partner with Meryl Davis instead of Danica, the dancing pro revealed that his top priority in the show is Danica although he was also willing to give it all with his one-time partner Davis. Val even said that 'The Wonder Years' star is amazing and that he is totally committed to her.
However, believe it or not, Danica McKellar is actually a divorced woman. McKellar got married to music composer, Mike Verta, only to file for a divorce in 2009, about eight years after they started to get serious with one another.
Danica has a son named Draco with Verta, but they officially divorced in 2012. TMZ revealed that a sealed pre-nup that the couple signed in March 2009 is still considered valid by the judge.
