Meryl Davis and Maks dating is a rumor that just won't go away. Since the starts o this season's 'Dancing With The Stars,' everyone couldn't help but wonder if Meryl Davis is dating Maks Chmerkovskiy. So what is the real deal between these two?
Episode after episode, Meryl Davis and Maks Chmerkovskiy engage into steamy performances (except for that time when the Chmerkovskiy brothers exchanged partners). Many believe that their ballroom romance couldn't only be a thing they are sharing inside the competition.
Every time they perform, they always give us this heart-stopping moment halfway through the routine when they seem to share an almost-kiss. Perhaps this could be the reason they always get a high score in every round.
Since Maks Chmerkovskiy's split with top model Kate Upton, the bad boy of the ballroom dance floor is back on the market, and many are actually linking him to every girl he is spotted with. Hence, it is not surprising that for DWTS 2014, Maks is rumored to be dating his partner, Meryl Davis.
In one of the behind-the-scene clips of their rehearsals, Maks even asks Davis, "So, I love you and I would love to marry you, but I need to know if you and Charlie [White] are dating first?" To which Davis responds with something to dispel the dating rumors between her and White. Maks then responds with "good" to his partner's confession.
Parade reports that in an interview with Davis, she opened up about her working experience with Maks thus far. "He's incredible," the Olympics god medalist says. "I don't really know what to expect coming in but I'm so impressed with him both as a dancer and as a person. I feel really lucky to have been partnered with him."
Now, when it comes to last Monday night's episode, the allegedly dating dancing partners Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkvskiy pretty much nailed it despite their dramarama in their behind-the-scene rehearsal segment.
HollywoodLife even noted that in the video, Maks sounded very frustrated with Davis for not training hard enough in their training. The site further notes that Maks was "totally abusive to her."
Nonetheless, it seems that Maks strict training this week has paid off since the dancing couple didn't only get high praises from the judges but also nailed a perfect score of 40 out of 40.
So is Meryl Davis and Maks dating? We're still not sure yet, but, in time, perhaps these DWTS partners will switch their ballroom dancing romance into something real.
