Sex at school was reported recently at Montgomery County, Md., when two high school students were seen having sex in the hallway at their school. The students were expected to be in their class when they were caught and interrupted by other students.
The incident happened at the Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville, at the school's hallway close to the attendance office. The students were, Miguel Cedillo, who is 18 years old, and was charged with a violation, fourth degree sex offense, when he was known to be having sexual activities with a 14 year old girl at their school.
The case were already filed in court, and according to the documents, the 14 year old girl gave permission to Miguel Cedillo to have sex with her. The incident also happened in February earlier this year, which abruptly interrupted by other students in the school. The school reported the incident to police authorities after the parents of the children notified the school, and after hearing about it from the parents of other students.
The age difference from the perpetrators was the main reason why Miguel Cedillo was charged for the sex offense. The 14 year old girl, who is currently unidentified, was too young to give consent on the sexual act in Maryland.
Miguel Cedillo is also scheduled to appear in court, and was given a public defender for the current hearing on May 8 of this year, based on reports produced by The Gazette.
The school also installed mirrors at their hallways in order to monitor and eliminate the sex at school problem, this is a direct action they have done in solving the problem from the incident. The school also said that they have done this in order to increase security visibility so that students will not be enticed to have sex at school.
