FedEx Shooting Reports: A Gunman Opened Fire To FedEx Facility Resulting To 6 People Injured Before Killing Himself

FedEx facility in Kennesaw, a suburb in Atlanta, near the Cobb County Airport, was horrified and shocked by a shooting incident this Tuesday morning, after an armed individual started opening fire that injured 6 individuals. Police authorities who responded at the scene said that the gunman also killed himself after shooting the victims.

The reports were made via WXIA-TV, that a certain gunman opened fire to a FedEx facility, injurting 6 individuals, one of them were also known to have been in critical condition. All of the 6 victims were rushed to the Wellstar Kennestone Hospital to undergo treatment from their injuries. Some of the victims will also undergo surgery for gun shot wounds inflicted by the gunman.

Cobb County Police officials also made confirmation about the suspect being dead, after shooting himself with his own gun. The officials who also responded the scene, made another sweep of the facility to make sure that additional threats and danger are eliminated.

A large number of police officials was reported to have surrounded the FedEx facility during the incident. The Cobb County Police was also joined by similar law enforcement department, like the FBI bomb experts, and agents for the Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms unit.

FedEx also issued a statement regarding the incident on their facility at Atlanta, they already informed that they are aware of the current situation. The logistics company also pointed out that their major concern is the safety and well-being of their employees, team members, and victims who are affected by the crisis.

FedEx is currently doing its best to cooperate with the authorities about the incident. Reports also surfaced when FedEx employees and personnel was not allowed to enter the facility, asking them to turn away by the companies authorities due to the shooting incident that is happening.
