According to Daily Mail, Dakota Fanning's boyfriend is British model Jamie Strachan, who is apparently 13 years older than his blonde beauty girlfriend.
Reports say that the former child star, who is making progressive moves in the fashion and film communities, has absolutely waved goodbye to her teenage years as she is now rumored to be getting serious with her much older boyfriend.
The former child star and the British model have started dating in May 2013, Daily Mail has learned.
Jamie Strachan is actually a high profile model, who has worked for Gucci, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, and Hugo Boss.
Dakota Fanning's boyfriend reportedly shared a long-term relationship with Victoria's Secret angel Behati Prinsloo, who is now engaged to Adam Levine, E! Online wrote.
In the past, Fanning has admitted that she is not the type to go on casual dating if she thinks there is no stable future with that someone.
"I have a weird vision of relationships because my parents have known each other since second grade, and they got married right out of college," the 19-year-old actress dished to Glamour magazine last March. "I've always thought that's what it's supposed to be like, and if it's not, then I don't want to waste my time. Even when I was 14, I was like, 'I'm not gonna marry this person. On several occasions, Dakota Fanning's boyfriend, Jamie Strachan and the actress were spotted enjoying each other's company in New York.
In February, the couple was spotted by Perez Hilton taking a stroll through dirty snow in New York's East Village with cheerful grins on their faces.
A month earlier, Dakota and Strachan were seen in the crowd at Madison Square Garden during the New York Knicks vs Los Angeles Lakers game. Interestingly, photographs of the two show Dakota seemingly more enticed to looking only at her boyfriend throughout the entire game.
The young Hollywood celeb currently resides in New York to continue her undergraduate studies at NYU's Gallatin School of Individualised Study.
