The body of a murdered New Jersey woman has been found and identified. The 41-year old Fatima Perez was buried alive by her landscaper after he had suggested to give her a ride to buy a new car. Two men have been arrested with criminal charges, as evidence has indicated that they are the ones to have commited the brutal murder of the woman.
Perez has been reported missing on the same day after she went to look for a new car. Criminal experts have found the victim's body in Monroe Township, approximately 20 miles away from her home. Authorites have announced that her eyes and mouth were duct-taped and the reason for her death defined as asphyxiation.
Landscaper Carlos Alicea-Antonetti has already confessed to the authorites that he has killed and buried the woman alive, together with one of his employees.
Both men requested public defenders and they were held on $5 million bail.
Investigators have announced that Alicea-Antonetti, who also owns Villa Coamo Landscaping and General Maintenance, has suggested to pick up the woman in his van and bring her to the place where she was about to purchase a car. Her family members have announced that the woman kept around $8 000 in her purse.
Alicea-Antonetti has explained to investigators that he had a ''brutal'' argument with Perez and she has fallen out of his vain. While she was badly injured, she was still able to get intothe vehicle in the back seat. However, in order to avoid any further conflicts and complications, the landscaper decided it was best to get rid of the woman. After they duct-taped her face, they covered her with lime and decided to cover the ditch with branches. The woman was still alive at the time when they buried her.
Detectives have found the men because relatives of the woman have told the cops that she has shared the info about her potential purchase with the two men.
