NBA 2K15 will have more playable teams are reports indicated that 2K Sports and EuroLeague reached an agreement to expand the number of European teams in the popular basketball video game.
2K Sports and EuroLeague Basketball announced on Friday that 11 more teams from the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague will be added in the game, extending the number of playable European teams to 25.
Among the 25 teams are top-tier clubs like FC Bayern Munich of Germany, JSF Nanterre of France, Galatasaray Liv Hospital of Turkey, and Partisan NIS Belgrade.
All teams that participated in the 2013-14 EuroLeague season will also be in the game, and the developer also announced that roster of each teams will also be updated, including trades that will happen before the release of the game.
According to Greg Thomas, President of Visual Concepts, the decision to expand the number of teams was due to the excellent response to the introduction of EuroLeague teams in NBA 2K14.
"The global response to the integration of EuroLeague teams into the NBA 2K series last year was fantastic, and a key factor in our decision to include the full complement of 2013-14 EuroLeague teams in NBA 2K15," Thomas said. "We know there's a huge passion for basketball in Europe, and we're excited to further expand the number of playable European teams to make this the most comprehensive basketball game ever."

Aside from the newest addition to the game, 2K Sports also announced the 2013-14 NBA Most Valuable Player Kevin Durant will be the cover athlete of NBA 2K15, which is scheduled to hit retailers on October 27 for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
