Time for Teletubbies! Time for Teletubbies! The hit kids show, starring adorably cute Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po, is back and kids will surely love their "eh-oh!" moments even more, Daily Mail has learned.

The Teletubbies comeback is currently in the works after almost a decade of absence on television. The fun-filled kids show is said to make a grand return this year after it ended ten years ago.

According to reports, the pre-school show is to return with a brand new season comprising 60 episodes on BBC's digital channel CBeebies.

But unlike the old version of the show, where everything was pretty much acted and performed using real objects, the new Teletubbies is going to feature "visually enhanced" scenes with a "contemporary look" all thanks to computer animation and audio-visual technology.

The program makers have revealed that the new Teletubbies show will have CGI animation, so that kids will enjoy it even more.

The comeback of the show is made possible after the rights to the show have been acquired by DHX Media from its original production company Ragdoll.

Daily Mail noted that the new season of Teletubbies is going to be made under the tutelage of TV firm Darrall Macqueen, which has been behind very successful kids' TV shows such as Topsy And Tim and Baby Jake.

Darrall Macqueen executive producer Maddy Darrall said that working on Teletubbies was "like being handed the television crown jewels."

"Teletubbies is an enduringly popular series with our youngest viewers, although no new episodes have been made for over 10 years," CBeebies controlled Kay Benbow gushed.

"I think that now is the right time to create new episodes of this much-loved, iconic show for the current CBeebies audience," he added.

"I'm sure they will engage with and delight in the activities of Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa Laa and Po, in the same way that children and parents did when they first appeared on our screens."
