Supporters Applaud Emma Watson’s Inspiring UN Speech On Instagram

Emma Watson recently proved that she doesn't only turn heads for her beauty but as well as for her intellect and brilliance as she delivered an inspiring UN speech on feminism. The Harry Potter actress was applauded by fans, supporters and other celebrities on her social media accounts particularly on Instagram.
Before her speech, the actress' Instagram page flaunted pictures of Emma Watson's Montevideo visit in Uruguay last week, where she gave a speech that highlighted the need for women's political participation. It marked her first appearance as Women's Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations. Then on September 20, Emma delivered her influential and inspiring speech which was greatly applauded by the listening audience.
The Brit actress, Emma Watson took the stage at the UN Headquarters in New York on Saturday, September 20 to deliver an inspiring speech on feminism and launched a gender equality campaign HeForShe. Emma received a standing ovation after and earned support from fans and critics as well. They blitzed her social media accounts especially Instagram and Twitter.
As the UN Women Global Ambassador, Emma Watson sought the involvement of both genders and involved men in the fight for women's rights. Emma's inspiring feminism speech earned accolades from enthusiasts and decriers alike and even some of the industry's brightest stars to show their support. Supporters alongside Emma Watson are rallying for the HeForShe campaign in its efforts to elevate both genders.
Because of her amazing speech, Emma Watson's Instagram account as well as her other social media accounts flaunted numerous congratulatory posts from her supporters all around the world. On her speech, Emma called for men to advocate for gender equality. She said that she knew she was a feminist at the age of eight when she was called "bossy" whereas boys weren't and at 14, she said that she was sexualized by certain elements of the press.
The 24-year old English actress, during Emma Watson's speech was applauded and cheered several times and received a standing ovation after delivering her inspiring speech. She also called feminism as the belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities and said the perception of "man-hating" is something that has to stop. Her Instagram account may have not shown her travels but was enough to flaunt rave and positive reactions on her gender equality speech.

Emma Watson's feminism speech went viral and now Emma is undeniably an Internet phenomenon. Her inspiring speech highlighted that HeForShe campaign is freedom for men and women alike. She said that both genders should be sensitive and strong. It should be a spectrum and Emma encouraged men and women to stop defining each other by which we are not but by who we really are.
Indeed, Emma Watson was greatly celebrated and applauded on social media particularly on Instagram and Twitter. Emma emphasized that gender equality is men's issue too. Her very striking words are, "It is not the word that is important but the idea and the ambition behind it." She concluded by saying, "If not me, then who? If not now, then when?"
