Gwyneth Paltrow has established herself as an admired style icon and a portrait of a cool, modern woman who had it all. She enjoys a fairytale-like life and a picture perfect family. However, her recent separation with husband, singer Chris Martin had been a shock to her fans. The Richest has listed Gwyneth's and Chris' combined net worth as $200 million.
Aside from Gwyneth Paltrow's successful career and net worth, she was also a notable style idol. Since 2005, she has been the face of Estée Lauder's Pleasures perfume and is also the face of American brand, Coach. Paltrow also owns a lifestyle company Goop.com and the author of two cookbooks.
Gwyneth Paltrow is considered as one of Hollywood's A-list stars. With her remarkable net worth and acting career, she was named People magazine's annual "Most Beautiful Woman" in April 2013. Gwyneth Paltrow is also known for her philanthropic works. She is a "Save the Children" artist ambassador, which advocates in raising awareness about "World Pneumonia Day." She is also on the board of Robin Hood Foundation, a charitable organization that works to alleviate poverty in New York City.
Meanwhile, this October, Gwyneth Paltrow hosted a Democratic National Committee fundraiser at her private and lavish Los Angeles residence. Us Weekly said that the Oscar-winning actress was tongue-tied when she addressed her VIP guest, President Obama. The mother of two admitted that she was overwhelmed and found herself lost for words.
"I am one of your biggest fans, if not the biggest," Gwyneth Paltrow said before admiring the President for being an "incredible role model."
According to Fox News, the party was attended by approximately 200 guests who include President Obama, Julia Roberts and Bradley Whitford. The event was the second fundraiser Paltrow has hosted for the president. And after the backyard event, she then hosted a private dinner for the President and 50 supporters where tickets allegedly cost $32,000.
At the fundraiser, the newly-separated actress spoke about the sustainable energy sources and commended President Obama's support for equal pay. Gwyneth Paltrow, who Forbes estimates to earn an astounding $19 million per year which adds up to her increasing net worth, said that it was very significant to her as a working mom.
