Previously, we saw Annalise and her students take on a murder mystery where soccer mom Paula Murphy was the prime suspect. When they discovered that Murphy was working for an anti-globalization organization named Elena, the suspect ran away with her lover, leaving Annalise with no choice but to put the case on hold. Then, we also saw Michaela discovering her fiancé Aiden's affair with Connor that left her totally devastated. Interestingly, Nate finds out that the alibi of Annalise's husband on the night of Lila Stangard's murder was fake. This week, prepare as the students and Annalise get nearer to the truth behind Stangard's murder. ABC dropped a couple of sneak peek clips for the upcoming episode this Thursday night and one of them hints that Rebecca will be confessing something about the murder. In another teaser, Annalise confronts Wes for talking to a client. It can be noted that he visited Rebecca in jail last week, which lead the latter to confess about Lila's murder. But Annalise is furious and even tells Wes that his "big mouth that motivated our client into a confession." Annalises then continues by saying, "Your behavior is starting to make me question whether you're working for the other side. You better tell me in detail everything you ever said to her." Meanwhile, Wes is also seen working on another case with the team and Professor Keating in another promo. They'll be defending Marren Trudeau, a CEO who is allegedly behind insider trading in Edson Pharmaceuticals. The official synopsis of the brand new episode reads: "After discovering that it was Lila's (Megan West) phone in his bathroom, Wes (Alfred Enoch) is going to have some intel about the Lila Stanguard murder case that could prove to be detrimental to the case.
