All-Star power forward Kevin Love might be chasing for his first championship ring with the Cleveland Cavaliers right now, but as a baller playing in his final year of his current contract, there's always the possibility he could hit the free-agency market next summer.

According to Bleacher Report writer Dan Favale, Love signing a five-year, $108 million year with the Cavs isn't slam dunk, as there's a risk he might end up with another team next summer.

While it's true that it's almost impossible to see the All-Star power forward turn down the opportunity to earn more and win more titles alongside LeBron James and Kyrie Irving, Love might still generate interest from big market ball clubs, such as the New York Knicks or the Los Angeles Lakers.

Favele believed Love's long term tenure with the Cavaliers will depend on how successful this year would not only be for his new ballclub but also for his own sake.  

"Even Love's predicted contract length implies he isn't going anywhere, since the Cavaliers are the only team that could offer him a five-year deal. Wojnarowski also reported that Cleveland traded for the power forward with "a firm agreement Love will opt out of his contract in 2015 and re-sign" next summer. In all likelihood, he's staying put," Favale stressed.

Armed with large financial resources, big market ballclubs like the New York Knicks and the Los Angeles Lakers are seen as leading suitors for Love if he ever hits the market. The Houston Rockets is another option because of the star power of Dwight Howard and James Harden.

"Still, if his plan is to opt out, there will be a courting frenzy. Big-market squads such as the New York Knicks, Houston Rockets and Lakers could all have cap space to burn, and the 26-year-old is the type of player to burn it on."

Love is averaging 17.5 points and 15 rebounds in 41 minutes of play for the Cavaliers, who lost its season-opener against the New York Knicks and grinded out a tough road win against fellow Eastern Conference powerhouse Chicago Bulls.
