See Meryl Streep like never before in her role as the witch in the upcoming Disney movie, Into The Woods on December 25, 2014.
The veteran actress has been known for her astounding acting skills playing very challenging roles like Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada and Aunt Josephine in Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events just to name a few.
Now she plays the role of the wicked witch in this new Disney film, but it is not just her acting skills that can be seen here, but also her amazing singing voice. Although this is not the first time, Streep was seen singing in a movie because she also did it back when she starred as Donna Sheridan in Mamma Mia, it is still something to look forward to because not only does she has to hit the right notes, but it is more challenging since her role here is not quite an ordinary person who is tasked to sing a popular song.
Theatrical music is different from pop like what Streep has mostly sang in Mamma Mia, whose songs are from the popular group Abba. Her performance from the movie was a success and the pressure is one once again for her to do well on this new one. But as usual, everybody knows she will surely do well.
Don't forget to catch the movie on Christimas Day of this year. You can also see the trailer here.
