David Beckham Accident - On Saturday morning, former English soccer star David Beckham and his 15-year-old son Brooklyn were involved in a car accident. The incident occurred after the 39-year-old ex-England captain picked up his eldest son from the Arsenal's training ground. Fortunately, the Beckhams walked away unharmed from the crash.

Before David Beckham's car accident, the former athlete had been at the training center at London Colney, Hertfordshire, watching his son's game against Brighton's under-16. The Independent UK reported Beckham's son, Brooklyn had been playing for Arsenal under-16s against Brighton and Hove Albion. Earlier this month, Brooklyn joined the London team on a short-term contract.

Though the accident left David Beckham and his eldest son unharmed, The Daily Mail said David's original car, which was a grey Audi RS6, was unable to be used. Meanwhile, Arsenal staff steered onlookers away from the scene while the father and son were taken aback after the collision.

After the accident involving David Beckham and his son, one Brighton player and Brooklyn's teammate went to social media site, Twitter, to tweet about the incident.

"Just seen David Beckham looks like he got in a car crash and hurt his shoulder," Archie Davies of Brighton posted. "Star struck by seeing David Beckham tbh."

While Brooklyn's teammate thought the incident was extremely surreal.

"Weird to play against Brooklyn Beckham earlier," Thomas Cadman tweeted. "Even weirder to be currently stuck behind David Beckham as he has crashed his car."

Meanwhile, David Beckham's latest car accident was somewhat a heavy crash but luckily no one was injured. And the other car, a silver Mitsubishi colt, involved had been travelling at "quite a speed."

"David and Brooklyn [Beckham] were involved in a car accident, they did not suffer any injuries and as I understand it, both passengers in the other vehicle were unharmed," a source told E! News. "David and Brooklyn were shaken by the accident but thankfully OK."

The source also added that the Beckhams were spared from serious injury due to the deployment their car's airbags, The Telegraph UK reported. While the cause of the crash has not been released, most of the damage was to the driver's side of the car.

It is not the first time that David Beckham and his son Brooklyn have been involved in a car accident. Last year, the father and son collided into a car when pulling out of their driveway in Beverly Hills. And in 2011, the two were involved in a vehicular crash on Los Angeles' 405 freeway, which is one of the busiest highways in the US.
