On Monday, three separate shootings left four people dead in north-central West Virginia. According to the state police, the suspect in all the shooting incidents is still at large. Among the four victims was a woman who filed a domestic violence charge against the suspect.

According to the authorities, two of the three shootings occurred in the Westover area and the other was in the Chest Lake area in Monongalia County. Yahoo! News reported the state police spokesperson Lt. Michael Baylous identified the two victims among the four people who died because of the shooting incidents in West Virginia.

The victims were 39-year-old Sharon Kay Berkshire of Westover and 28-year-old Michael David Frum of Maidsville. The third victim was identified by WARJ.com as Doug Brady of Westover while the fourth victim was not promptly identified.

The suspect for the three separate shootings that left 4 people dead in West Virginia was identified as 39-year-old Jody Lee Hunt of Westover, as said by Monongalia County 911 director Mike Wolfe. Fox News reported the suspect, Hunt, is believed to be driving a black 2011 Ford F150 with a West Virginia registration OLK 303. The authorities added the words "Rough Country" are written on the back window.

Based on their Facebook page, the state police described the suspect, who is responsible for fatally shooting four people dead in three separate shootings in West Virginia, as five feet nine inches tall, 165 pounds with green eyes, CBS News reported.   

"We ask that everyone stay vigilant and use their discretion about whether they should leave their homes," Wolfe said.

Local schools in West Virginia were placed on lockdown. But West Virginia University in neighboring Morgantown said there was no immediate threat to the campus. According to The Daily Mail, classes resumed Monday following the Thanksgiving break.

"The incident is not associated with WVU nor did it occur on or near campus," the university said in a news release.

The suspect in the three shootings that left 4 people dead in West Virginia was reportedly having relationship problems as suggested on his Facebook post. Meanwhile, the authorities warn anyone with information not to approach Hunt or the truck instead contact the Morgantown State Police Department immediately.
