Since last week, Tara Reid has been flaunting her slim bikini body with a series of photos on Instagram. And on New Year's Eve, E! News reported she showcased her sexiest portrait where she posed nude while lying in a hammock with only her hands covering her crotch and breasts.

Though Tara Reid is no stranger in posing topless, her Instagram photos during her holiday spent on the beach in Tulum, Mexico have been subjected to several social media criticisms. While looking stunning on a bikini, her images sparked concern from her online followers, who thought the "American Pie" actress looked unhealthily slim, Ok! Magazine UK reported.

Meanwhile, Tara Reid's latest Instagram post on Sunday was also bashed by social media users. According to The Daily Mail, the newly-posted image where the actress can be seen posing on a rock, was allegedly Photoshopped because the curve of her waist did not appear ordinarily smooth, instead it looked curiously irregular.

 "A perfect sphere in the middle of the cave! So much fun ❤," Reid captioned the controversial post.

Reid's latest portrait was criticized on social media where one follower commented that the actress' figure was the result of drugs and alcohol use.

"So sad what drugs and alcohol can do to someone's looks," a follower wrote. Another also added, "Eat something please. ..."

"You don't look happy, do you?" another commented.

In November, Tara Reid defended her weight after she shared an image of herself on Instagram looking much slimmer during Thanksgiving.

"I'm just a small-boned girl," she told TMZ. "I eat, I eat, I eat."

"Some people that eat too much, [and] you yell at them that they're fat," she said, as reported by People. "You want to get mad at me because I'm skinny? Great, get mad at me. I am what I am."
