Kate Gosselin Jeff Prescott - The Kate Plus 8 star put rumors of a budding relationship between her and the Tennessee businessman to rest on Tuesday after she disclosed that she is not dating Prescott.

Since last month, there have been several rumors that Kate Gosselin and Jeff Prescott are in a relationship. But the 39-year-old reality TV star told Extra during a recent interview that she is not dating him. According to Kate, she and Prescott are working on a business deal. But she failed to give any hint of what deal they are working on.

Kate recently told Access Hollywood that she has her hands full with taking care of her kids. Although Kate admits that she is lonely and also that her kids need a male figure in her lives, she says that she has not dated since splitting with her husband in 2009 mainly because she has been busy taking care of her 8 children. Nonetheless, Kate says she is not thinking of online dating.

"I'm afraid of online dating. I can shop like nobody's business online, but I feel like that's where it should end," Kate explains.

Late last year there were rumors that Kate Gosselin was in a relationship with her married bodyguard Steve Neild. It is unclear what happened to their alleged relationship.

Kate Plus 8 returned to TV on Tuesday and many critics have commended Kate for her new calm outlook. The mother of 8 is renowned to have frequent meltdowns. But in the latest episode of Kate Plus 8, she presents a more composed bearing and gives her kids the leeway to sort out their troubles among themselves - this works perfectly.

Kate, who stars in the latest episode of Celebrity Apprentice, has been tipped as one of the forerunners to win the show by host Donald Trump.
