But now, it seems that all is well after Shriver joined the couple on a dinner date over the weekend.

Maria Shriver's Twitter post on Feb. 1 suggested to be a shout out message to Miley Cyrus after they have allegedly kissed and made up their differences towards each other. According to Hollywood Life, the 59-year-old journalist joined her 21-year-old son's Patrick Schwarzenegger date with 22-year-old girlfriend Miley on Friday in Laurel Hardware in West Hollywood, California.

Well, it seems that way after Maria Shriver posted a Twitter message two days after she joined her son, Patrick Schwarzenegger and his girlfriend Miley Cyrus for dinner on Jan. 30. E! News revealed Shriver even sat directly next to the "Wrecking Ball" singer.

"They all looked like they were having a great time-enjoying engaging conversation and laughing," an E! News insider exclusively shared. "It looked like Maria and Miley got along really well."

Contrary to the reports saying Patrick Schwarzenegger's family is against controversial singer Miley Cyrus, Design and Trend said it appears that Patrick's parents are not opposed to their relationship. The report also added that his dad, Arnold and his uncle, Anthony are pleased with his girlfriend.

Meanwhile, Maria Shriver is now considered as the latest member of Patrick's family to finally give his relationship with Miley Cyrus a blessing. In her Twitter post, Shriver wrote about a "clean slate," which showbiz observers interpreted as her positive reaction following Friday's dinner date.

"I've been thinking, we can all benefit from a clean slate," Maria Shriver wrote on Twitter. "Put the sad & negative away & start anew. #PassItForward"

After several controversies and reports that said Patrick Schwarzenegger's family is against Miley Cyrus, it seems Maria Shriver has finally ended it all. And with her Twitter shout out, it is indeed a start for a clean state between her and Miley.
