Looks like Norman Reedus is down with the idea of having a "Walking Dead" movie. The actor recently expressed his desire to have a big-screen project for the hit zombie-themed AMC show.
Reedus did an interview with the Philippine Daily Inrquirer, where he talked about the brilliant idea of creating a movie out of the successful series.
"I would love to do a 'Walking Dead' movie," Reedus said. "I'd like to do it in winter with snow, which would suck (laughs), but it would be fun."
The 46-year-old British actor, known for playing Daryl Dixon in the series, then continued, "When you do a TV show, everything's quick. I'd like to spread that in an hour and a half and tell a full story."
Meanwhile, the idea of making a movie out of "Walking Dead'" isn't something new. Reedus' costar Andrew Lincoln shared last month that a full-length film is something that they have constantly talked about.
Lincoln even joked that they'd want to have a "Walking Dead" movie "because it would be cool to see some snow."
Lincoln added: "What would be amazing is that you can play with form, time and chronology and maybe also rediscover characters who are no longer in the show. Certainly, with that format, you can do something very interesting and ambitious."
In 2012, speculations that a "Walking Dead" movie is being considered when the show's crew told Bloody Disgusting that there were rumblings about the potential of the flick.
Despite not having a final note on whether or not there will be a "Walking Dead" movie, fans can rejoice as early as now because it was already confirmed that season 6 is going to start airing in October on AMC.
