Season six of AMC's "The Walking Dead" will premiere on Oct. 11, with a ninety-minute episode. The announcement was made Friday at the famous Hall H during the Comic-Con event in San Diego.

Gale Anne Hurd, executive producer of the show, said there would be an international premiere on 125 countries following its 24-hour debut in the United States, Design & Trend has learned.

The new trailer was released following the announcement of the series' return. In the four-minute clip, the dominance over power was depicted between Rick and Morgan. The teaser clip ended with Daryl, who appeared to be in great trouble after running into a mysterious group.

In the season 5 finale, the authority to execute a member of the Alexandria Safe Zone was given to Rick (Andrew Lincoln). The brutal slaying was witnessed by Morgan (Lennie James), who reappeared following Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Aaron's (Ross Marquand) rescue from the Wolves.

The cast and producers confirmed that the Wolves will post a threat in the upcoming season. It was also announced that Merritt Wever and Ethan Embry would be joining the cast, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

James also said that the sixth season of "The Walking Dead" will provide an explanation where and what Morgan has been up to.

Meanwhile, Norman Reedus says that this season is going to be complicated. Season 6' storyline is entwined with the future and past, Melty has learned.

"Certain things happen, and you're kind of like, "Wow, that just happened," Reedus said. "Then you'll find out episodes later why that happened and what that meant."

Showrunner Scott Gimple confirmed the perplexity of the storyline. In addition, he says that a big flashback episode is currently on the works.

What does this mean for the audience? Simple. Do not miss a single episode, or you'll end up in a labyrinth that's full of questions.
