This 2015, Phil Rudd has been arrested again in New Zealand over the weekend after breaking the conditions of his home detention sentence by threatening to kill a former employee. The arrest came just 10 days after he appeared at the Tauranga District Court for his verdict. Fortunately, he was released on bail on Monday.

On Saturday night, Phil Rudd was arrested at his residence in North Island, New Zealand. Although the authorities denied to comment on the nature of arrest, FOX News reported that the 61-year-old Australian-born drummer was charged of breaching the conditions of his home detention by allegedly possessing and consuming alcohol.

According to Rudd's attorney, Craig Tuck, Phil Rudd appeared in the Tauranga District Court on Monday and was released on bail and will enter a plea when he appears in court on Aug. 3.

Phil Rudd's 8-month home detention sentence came on Jul. 8 after pleading guilty to threatening to kill a man who used to work for him as well as for possessing the addictive stimulant drug methamphetamine and the recreational drug marijuana. As per NZ Herald, prostitutes were also present at the time of his arrest.

During the last time Phil Rudd appeared in court, the AC/DC musician admitted in a court testimony that he'd offered cash, vehicles and a house to an associate in exchange for killing the victim. He also acknowledged that he'd directly threatened to kill the victim. Prosecutors had originally charged Rudd with murder-for-hire, but because of lack of evidence, they later dropped the charge.

Furthermore, Judge Thomas Ingram warned Rudd during the verdict hearing that he would go to prison if he breached the terms of his home detention, which banned him from taking any nonprescription drugs and subjected him to 24-hour monitoring, Stuff.co.nz revealed.

"I stone-cold guarantee that's where you'll end up," Ingram told Rudd at the hearing. "I'm not your headmaster, I'm not your father -- I'm a judge."

Meanwhile, as a condition of the bail on Monday, prosecutor Anna Pollett requested Phil Rudd to undergo drug and alcohol testing whenever police request it. Tuck did not oppose the request, and it was granted.

On his latest courtroom drama this 2015, Phil Rudd did not comment instead, he raised his hands and extended his middle fingers at a crowd of waiting journalists before getting into a car and driving away.
