The Bachelorette' Tell-All Scoop: Kaitlyn Receives Death Threats For Sleeping With Nick!

"The Bachelorette" tell-all was full of revelations regarding what went down the reality TV show. This season's bachelorette, Kaitlyn Bristowe, received a lot of flak from her controversial decisions, not only from the men she dealt with, but also from the general public.
Chris Harrison hosted "The Bachelorette" tell-all and he read a couple of tweets coming from netizens who followed the show. Some made sarcastic comments about Kaitlyn, and words such as "slut" and "whore" were hurled against her. There were also a few remarks that have to be censored which brought Kaitlyn to nearly break down in tears. This kind of criticism and hate directed towards her was probably because she slept with one of the men she dated, as per E! News.
People reported that Kaitlyn also expressed her blunt thoughts and disclosed that she recieved "death threats" after going to bed with Nick. She said, "I'm so fine with people disagreeing with me or having their opinions. That's okay.... The hardest part is it affects my family. I can handle it. It doesn't feel good, but I can handle it. But it's my family that's ... they call me to see if I'm okay. It's hard. It's really hard. It's hurtful. I like to think that it doesn't matter what people think about me ... but when it's thousands and thousands [of comments] just pouring in of people hating ... I get death threats. That hurts."
It's a sad thing that a woman showing her sexuality on a national reality TV show would create such a violent reaction just because some people find that what she has done did not fit the flawless expectations of the society on how women should act around men, according to People.
Furthermore, Ian — yes the Princeton guy — got on his knees and apologized for calling Kaitlyn a "shallow," "surface-level" individual in one of the show's episodes. He said, "I'm sorry to Kaitlyn. I'm sorry to her family, and I'm sorry, very importantly, to her mother." His apology would have been fine but got a little bit awkward when he knelt down for quite a little longer than normal.
Other issues that were discussed were Clint's bromance with JJ, convincing everyone that they are not gay.
Next was Nick's entrance a little later into the show which made everyone upset and felt that his entry was a little unfair since he previously texted and made advances with Kaitlyn.
Meanwhile, most of the men shared their thoughts and disappointments on not being able to receive the precious rose.
"The Bachelorette" tell-all special concluded with Kaitlyn's blooper reel, showing that throughout the ups and down she experienced, she was able to rise above it and be among the brilliant bachelorettes the show ever had, as per Us Weekly.
