The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kandi Burruss together with husband Todd Tucker are in high spirits after they announced the good news — she is pregnant with their first child as a couple!

Kandi Burruss revealed, "We're so thrilled to announce the news of our bundle of joy; it's a dream come true," as per Philly.com.

The gender of the baby is not yet known to the couple, but both Kandi and Todd have children from their past relationships. Kandi has Riley, 14, with ex-boyfriend Russel "Block" Spencer while Todd has 19-year-old Kaela.

Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker started going out in 2011 after getting to know each other in the show. The two later got engaged in January 2013 and tied the knot on April 4, 2014, as per Daily Mail.

In January 2009, Kandi was engaged to Ashley "A.J." Jewell, who tragically lost his life in October after suffering massive head injuries in a fight.

According to CBS Atlanta, this news brings so much joy to the couple since Kandi Burruss dreamed of getting pregnant again. The husband and wife team were even seen entering a fertility clinic in one of the episodes of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta."

She revealed in April that she was undergoing IVF to conceive. "We have started the process of in-vitro. So just pray for us that everything is great and we get a healthy baby! My family definitely, they definitely want a baby for me and Todd," she admitted to E! News.

Meanwhile, they have shared the amazing news to their children and naturally they were giddy with excitement with the prospect of having a new brother or sister.

Kandi Burruss returns to "Real Housewives of Atlanta" Season 8. She became a main cast member in Season 2, starring alongside Phaedra Parks, Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore, all expected to go on board for Season 8. Nene Leakes confirmed recently that she won't be returning as a central character.
