The next fight of Floyd Mayweather Jr. has been booked, and Amir Khan, who has been repeatedly challenging the champ in public, blew his chances off before it even started.

Khan, who currently holds the Wold Boxing Council Silver Welterweight title, wanted to secure a fight against Mayweather. But with just one more match on welterweight king's contract before retirement, the former two-time world champion's chances went down from close to none.

Mayweather's next fight, the last one before he retires, is reportedly against IBF and WBC welterweight Andre Berto. Other than Khan, Gennady Golovkin, undefeated middleweight champion, offered to drop down a weight to fight against him, International Business Times reported.

A deal is already in place for Mayweather and Berto in September at Las Vegas. If he wins, that victory before his retirement is going to give him a record of 49-0, a record equal to Rocky Marciano's.

Meanwhile, Ashley Theophane, Mayweather's protégé, received a surprise gift from the undefeated champ — a brand-new 2015 Chrysler 300. That's how Mayweather show some love for his protégé after winning five straight fights, TMZ has learned.

Needless to say, he really knows how to take care of his team. While the champ is being loved by those people around him, there are some who hated his guts.

One example is the UFC champ Ronda Rousey, who was very open of disliking the boxing star. During her speech at the 2015 ESPYs, Rousey dissed him by bringing up his history on domestic violence.

Chris Weidman, another UFC Champ, is also disliking him for trying to make a move on his friend's girlfriend. Bloody Elbow found out that Weidman, and he met at a pool party in Las Vegas.

Weidman said that after staring at Aljamain Sterling's girl, he ordered his body guards to go and get her. It was a good thing that Sterling stood up for himself.

"He said 'I'm 11-0 in MMA, and you're only... 48-0 in boxing. And MMA is better than boxing so I can beat you up, so don't you dare take my girlfriend!'" Weidman added.

Geez. It's one crazy reputation Mayweather is building out there.

What if Mayweather's next fight is on MMA instead of boxing, you think he'll stand a chance? Let us know your thoughts.
