Mafia 3, after years of waiting and with all those rumors, has been officially announced.
Every bit of information that came out thereafter is important, so let's take a look at the possible release date, gameplay, trailer and fans expectations.
The company revealed on Twitter Tuesday that a trailer is on its way. Mafia Game uploaded a promotional snap and captioned it "See the worldwide reveal of the #Mafia3 announcement trailer on 8/5/15 here: https://YouTube.com/MafiaGame."
Since the initial release of “Mafia 2” in 2010, fans have been patiently waiting for the sequel. Gotta Be Mobile learned that 2K Games gave a statement to Gamespot, with all hints of the game's features.
The company says: "Mafia III is the next installment in the popular series known for immersing players into a world of organized crime through rich narrative storytelling and a beautifully crafted game world featuring period-accurate cars, music, and fashion."
The teaser that 2K Games released revealed four male characters and one female. It also appears that the next cars to be featured are those from the '60s and '70s.
The first Mafia game showcased cars from 1920s and 1930s, while the second had the 1950s. According to Top Speed, if "Mafia 3" skips forward a bit, gamers can look forward for the possibility of muscle cars or early European supercars, although, there are hopes that there would be more cars and customization compared to "Mafia 2."
The recent "Mafia 3" teaser didn't give anything much, and there are no words about its release date yet. However, a full reveal is slated next week at the 2015 Gamescom, as per Game Spot.
There are also speculations about the availability of "Mafia 3" on Xbox One and PS4, but no official statement has been released yet.
