Bobbi Kristina Brown Funeral - On Saturday, Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, who died on Jul. 26 after almost seven months in a coma, has been finally laid to rest. However, it didn't end in peace as a war has just begun between the Houstons and the Browns after Leolah Brown's outburst during the private funeral at the Saint James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Just a day before Bobbi Kristina Brown's funeral, the Browns and the Houstons separately arrived at the Murray Brothers Funeral Home in Atlanta on Friday evening for the wake, according to People. The Houstons, who were led by Whitney's 81-year-old mother Cissy, arrived first at 6 p.m.
The Browns, on the other hand, patiently waited in their cars until the Houstons left before entering the funeral home to pay their respects. New York Daily News reported that the Browns included Krissi's dad Bobby, his wife Alicia and his sisters Tina and Leolah.
At the wake, Krissi's boyfriend Nick Gordon was absent, Us Weekly noted. And following Bobbi Kristina Brown's funeral on Saturday, her body was flown to New Jersey to be buried next to her mom, Whitney Houston.
Bobbi Kristina Brown's funeral has been a source of feud between the Houstons and the Browns. Krissi's paternal aunt Leolah accused Pat Houston of her devious plan to make money out if Krissi's inheritance.
As mourners paid their respects to Krissi during the private funeral, Leolah Brown left mid-service in anger and walked over to a group of reporters gathered outside. E! News has learned that she walked out after confronting Pat and causing a disruption. But returned to the church after three minutes.
"It was wonderful until Pat started speaking and I didn't like that, so I left," Leolah Brown told reporters, as seen in a video posted by NBC affiliate 11 Alive. "I just told her that Whitney was going to haunt her from the grave."
"Pat, it's not over," she told reporters. "It has just begun. We've got evidence of who Pat really is, this is going to be a long drawn out process... Things are connected. Pat is a fraud and a phony. She is not a Houston, she's a Garland."
Prior to Leolah Brown's outburst during Bobbi Kristina Brown's funeral, Daily Mail reported that the Browns were upset that Pat Houston had asked for donations to her charity, Marion P. Foundation, which is for the benefit of troubled teens, instead of mourners buying Krissi flowers. And what made Leolah more furious are the words written on Krissi's funeral invitation.
"The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Bobbi Kristina's name to The Marion P. Foundation," these words were written on the invites.
On Thursday, Leolah Brown took to her Facebook page to rant against Pat Houston whom she earlier slammed for attempting to raise money for her foundation through public donations in Bobbi Kristina's name. She also challenged Pat for a public faceoff.
"The Brown family has just learned that Marion Patricia Houston, AKA: Pat Houston, is asking for the public to send money to her foundation (The Marion P Foundation) on behalf of my niece Bobbi Kristina," she wrote.
"She has not even sat down & spoken to my brother Bobby, who is Bobbi Kristina's father, about this. PLEASE keep your money in your pockets and give absolutely NOTHING to the Marion P foundation," Leolah continued. "Unless you don't mind supporting such an evil and dirty foundation. Lastly, keep your eyes & ears open as THE TRUTH is being revealed."
"Furthermore, she is not the sweet quiet person that she 'tried' so hard to make people believe she was on the Oprah show," she added on her lengthy rambling post. "She would like the public to think that... but she is very good and polished on keeping her composure when she is under the microscope."
With the tension-filled incidents that transpired during Bobbi Kristina Brown's funeral, it seems that the conflict between the Houstons and the Browns becomes more chaotic and intense.
