Good news to "Minecraft" players in Northern Ireland. Mojang will be launching a local version of the game by featuring the country's map, Latin Post has learned.

"The Minecraft game has been hugely successful across the world, not least with our young people in Northern Ireland," Stormount's Finance Prime Minister Arlene Foster, who was very optimistic of Ireland's inclusion in the game, said.

"This exciting new development will allow people here to play the game across all of Northern Ireland, in places that are familiar to them," she added.

She described "Minecraft" as an educational tool for kids. With the new map, players would be able to recreate Northern Ireland's famous landmarks and even their very own houses.

With this update comes a new announcement from Mojang stating that players, who have existing "Minecraft" in their own PC or Mac, can now take advantage of "Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta" for free.

How can you get a free copy?

Just log in to your Mojang account and look for the redeem button and from there, you will need to sign in to your Microsoft account.

There's an update though from Mojang's site. It says that the game is still rolling out so don't worry if you don't see the button on your account and Mojang is advising the players to check back every once in a while.

The Windows 10 version supports a couple of new features. According to International Business Times, players will be able to use the touch screen, controller or keyboard, and switch between them with minimal hassle.

Players can record the game footage with a built-in DVR. For the highlights, "Minecraft" Windows 10 version supports multiplayer gameplay, wherein a Windows 10 player can play against seven other players who have the same operating system.

What if you don't have your own "Minecraft?"

Players reportedly can order the beta version at a discounted rate of $10. Its regular retail price is $26.95.

Another good news is, the multiplayer option will be extended in the future to Pocket Edition players.

"Minecraft" has gone really popular and people have different opinions about it. Some say that it has no point because it doesn't really have a "winning condition," but US Gamer says otherwise.

The site points out that the only real limits to this survival game is what a player can do with time, effort and imagination.
