One person who does not want to keep up with the Kardashians is singer Beyonce, especially with new suspicions of reality tv star Kim Kardashian trying to buy her friendship.
According to The National Enquirer, Beyonce's suspicions initially came about after Kim bought the singer's daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, a $5,000 "gold name bracelet with pink and white diamond studs." Beyonce was initially very grateful for gift, but when she seen that the bracelet was engraved with a message that read: "Love Auntie Kim," she was shocked.
"She thought it was over the top, considering that she's known Kim personally for such a short time," a "source" tells the magazine. "Despite Kim's sex tape and bad marriages, Beyonce had been warming to her based on her charming demeanor and romance with Kanye [West], who's a good friend. But she certainly doesn't consider Kim family in any way, shape or form- and for her to suggest that closeness in a present for Blue Ivy really put Beyonce off."
Although Beyonce and Kim were spotted together at a concert performed by lovers Jay-Z and Kanye, only a week later Beyonce allegedly refused to speak to Kim at the BET Awards.
According The Enquirer, "They have been friends for five minutes, but already Kim is trying to force herself into Beyonce's life...She believes Kim is trying to buy her friendship through her daughter, and she's cooling to their friendship. Right now, Beyonce is on her guard. She's keeping her distance until she feels more trusting of Kim."
When Kim and Kanye had first hit the headlines as a pair, rumors spurred that Kim was trying her hardest to be included into Beyonce's friend circle, so it may not be surprising that she'd use Blue Ivy to sneak her way in.
