Nina Dobrev may have left The CW's hit series "Vampire Diaries" for good, but she surely didn't leave without something memorable to carry with her. Just recently, the 26-year-old actress gushed about an "awkward" filming moment during her final day on set, according to International Business Times.

In an interview with TV Insider, Dobrev revealed that while she was filming the coffin scene for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 finale, she did something "awkward" and embarrassing that prompted his co-stars and the crew to laugh.

"I'm pretty sure at one point during this scene in the finale, I had fallen into such a deep sleep that I started snoring," she said, adding, "That was awkward. But everyone laughed — as family would."

It wasn't the only memorable thing on Dobrev's final day with the "Vampire Diaries" cast and crew.

In May, she shared to People the epic prank everyone pulled while she was filming her final scene with ex-boyfriend and on-screen lover Ian Somerhalder.

"It was 2 o'clock in the morning on my last shot of my last scene — with Ian [Somerhalder] — and they asked for one more take," she said at the time. "The camera operator came up to me and said, 'Hey, you have something in your hair, let me get this out.' And then he grabbed me, held down my arms so I couldn't move and the entire crew came up and dumped a kiddie pool of whipped cream and cake onto my head! They had decorations and Nerf guns and water guns, and I just got demolished."

Meanwhile, "Vampire Diaries" is moving on with its seventh season following Dobrev's exit, and the upcoming season is said to focus more on the remaining character's storylines.

One of the characters who will be put under the spotlight is Alaric, who is bound to suffer the depressing repercussions of the death of his wife Jo at the hands of Kai.

As per Fashion & Style, Alaric will try to find ways to speak with his deceased wife once more. Show executive producer Julie Plec said Alaric is bound to look for witches with necromancy powers, but this will be a struggle for him since he is going to battle against alcoholism after last season's finale. Good thing Damon is going to stand by his friend in times of his grief.

Elsewhere, Enzo is going to find his ladylove and fans would be surprised that someone already familiar is going to capture Enzo's heart.

In an interview with Buddy TV, actor Michael Malarkey teased, "We see him together with somebody, maybe somebody we know on the show."
