Blake Shelton is missing his second wife Miranda Lambert post-split, and he knows just how to express his emotion through a song. In his Charleston, West Virginia stop for his Ten Times Crazier tour, "The Voice"  coach did an emotional performance of his now ex-wife's song "Over You."

According to Country Rebel, despite being drenched in sweat, Shelton managed to introduce and perform the touching song in front of the crowd.

"I thought it'd be cool if I played y'all what I consider to be the two most important songs in my life," he was quoted as saying by the site. 

Though the song was co-written by the couple in memory of Blake's older brother Richie, the 39-year-old singer's performance of the song that night seemed to be really directed at Lambert.

"But you went away/ How dare you?/ I miss you/ They say I'll be OK/ But I'm not going to ever get over you," Shelton sang painfully in front of the crowd.

Blake Shelton's heartbreaking performance came after he slammed In Touch magazine for accusing him of cheating on Lambert with country singer Cady Groves.

In a letter issued by Shelton's attorney, it was stated that there was no truth on the publication's story about an affair between the two artists. "Mr. Shelton did not have a sexual relationship or affair of any nature whatsoever with Ms. Groves," read a part of the legal letter, as per TMZ.

However, In Touch magazine is not affected by the letter from Shelton's attorneys. The magazine even noted: "Not only does In Touch magazine stand by its story but we have another exclusive about Blake and Miranda's divorce in this week's issue."

Meanwhile, since their breakup, several speculations on what caused the strain in their relationship surfaced. One of which claims that Lambert had been very violent in the years that she spent with Shelton.

"It was a regular occurrence for Miranda to get very drunk and hit Blake," a source was quoted as saying by Radar Online. "The fights were awkward and embarrassing for everyone around them!"

The story, which Lambert has already denied, even claims that Miranda had regularly threatened to kill her husband whenever they had "boozy brawls."

Shelton, who filed for divorce on July 6, has yet to comment on this story.
