2K Sports released the first gameplay trailer of "NBA 2K16" on Monday, featuring the Golden State Warriors star player Stephen Curry, Bleach Report learned. The video was narrated by "NBA 2K16" collaborator and filmmaker Spike Lee.

The footage entitled "Beyond The Shadows" showcased the basketball career story of the 2015 NBA Most Valuable Player. It highlighted how he got recruited in high school to play for North Carolina, when he joined the team of Davidson University up to the time that he was drafted in the NBA.

Curry was doubted his entire life — from his height, to his weak ankle up to his capability to foist himself on the game. According to USA Today, this NBA season was pure vindication for the 27-year-old athlete.

"NBA 2K16" will cover three stars, and this is just the first part. The other two will feature Anthony Davis of New Orleans Pelicans, and James Harden of Houston Rockets, as per Game Spot.

Meanwhile, Gameplay Director Mile Wang announced on Twitter that green releases were no longer 100 percent in the 17th installment in the NBA 2K franchise.

He tweeted, "@teebone21 @JersDaCurse @Da_Czar @ScottOGallagher @Ronnie2K @LD2K No. Green releases are much rarer in 16 and also no longer 100%."

"There have been battles even internally over missed green releases, especially now that they're so hard to get," according to Wang's statement released in the Operation Sports forum. "I really think it's an unsolvable problem."

"So if there's something the community isn't happy with I can tweak the system and update your games without the need for a patch," he continued. He assured that what happened with patch four last year will not happen again.

The game will be released on Sept. 29 in PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms. Pre-ordering will allow gamers to play for days earlier on Sept. 25, as per NBA 2K16 game.
