"Sofia The First" voice actor Ariel Winter has revealed her struggle for having breasts that won't stop growing. The "Modern Family" star has now confessed to undergoing breast reduction surgery.
The 17-year-old television actress has opened up to Glamour magazine about her struggle with her 32F chest and how she was almost always uncomfortable in wearing bathing suits and having a hard time in looking for dresses to rock on the red carpet, Mirror has learned.
Winter, who plays Alex Dunphy on ABC's "Modern Family, also admitted that she's tired of receiving mean comments online for her busty figure.
Given her struggle, Ariel finally decided to do something about her breasts. And in June, she had a surgery that reduced her F cup breasts to a D cup.
The teenager also confessed that her main intention in sharing her breast reduction story was to counter possible media stories that would question the transformation of her breasts. Plus, she also believes that this would leave a good impression to girls who also face the same struggle that she did, Entertain This! reported.
Interestingly, Ariel Winter revealed that she was flat-chested in the past and things started to change for her one night after she wished of having "boobs."
She recalled that it was during her sister's wedding when she really felt bad that she's "so flat" that she wished for her breasts to grow.
"And then overnight I did. But then they kept growing and growing and growing, and it didn't seem like they were going to stop," she added, as per Seattlepi.
Now that she bravely underwent breast surgery, Ariel Winter claims she's quite happy and she's thankful that her "Modern Family" costars are also "really happy" for her.
One costar in particular is Joe Manganiello's girlfriend Sofia Vergara who also struggled with her breast size at the start of her career.
