Updates for the upcoming Fox's horror comedy anthology series "Scream Queens" have been revealed with no other than one of its cast members, Ariana Grande. New characters are also set to join the television series.

Aside from the recent "donut licking" incident, Ariana Grande is making her way into acting as she was selected to be part of the show. Being cast as "Chanel no. 2," Ariana shared the show's promotional photo on her Instagram account, Inquistr reported.

While it might be the show's official poster, Ariana captioned it as "#September #ScreamQueens." Other cast members including Emma Roberts (Chanel Oberlin), Jaime Lee Curtis (Cathy Munsch), Keke Palmer (Zayday Williams) and Nick Jonas (Boone) can be seen on the photo as well. They were standing behind the huge bloody letters of Kappa Kappa Tau Sorority.

Apart from the promo photo, there are reports that another actor will be joining the television show. According to Design&Trend, Philip Casnoff has joined the cast. Casnoff will be playing Cathy Munsch's (Jamie Lee Curtis) ex husband. Notably, the site also said that he will leave Munsch for a younger woman.

The younger woman that was mentioned by the source will be played by Tavi Gevinson. Known as "Feather," the 19-year-old editor/actress' character and involvement might be revealed in later episodes, the source noted.

In the other news, "Scream Queens" actress Lea Michele and Emma Roberts attended the annual "Teen Choice Awards" which was held at Galen Center in Los Angeles.

Notably, both of them arrived at the event in dazzling style, as Belfast Telegraph reported. Lea wore a red and blue floral-patterned dress paired with red Christian Loubutin shoes. Emma, on the other hand, sported a mini dress created by Peter Pilotto accented by white Stuart Weitzman shoes.

"Scream Queens" premieres on Fox this September.
