"The Mysteries of Laura" actor Josh Lucas and ex-wife Jessica Ciencin Henriquez are reportedly moving back in after their divorce has been finalized.
The divorce was finalized in October 2014, according to Design&Trend. However, Lucas, who plays the role of Captain Jake Broderick on NBC's comedy/crime/mystery series, and Henriquez are now living together in New York City.
"Josh and Jessica are living together now, in New York City with Noah, their son," a source close to the ex-couple told People. "They moved in because she starts grad school at Columbia University in September and Josh's show has him working insane hours."
Henriquez, who is a freelance writer for seven years, will be attending the University to get her MFA in creative writing. She and "The Mysteries of Laura" actor met in 2011 and tied the knot in 2012.
Lucas, 44, and Henriquez, 30, was blessed with a son, Noah Rev, 3. Despite the divorce, the former couple are reportedly still supportive of each other, especially as parents.
It may be unconventional, but the source said that their decision to move back in was the "smartest move" for their family. They both love their son, thus, the effort to make things work in any way they can.
"They recently moved in together so that they could both be with Noah as much as possible despite their schedules, with work and Columbia requiring so much time away," the source added.
Talking about work for Lucas and his co-star, Debra Messing, "The Mysteries of Laura" will be returning to NBC on Sept. 23. Recently, Digital Spy learned that "Revenge" star Gabriel Mann will appear as a guest in the series' second season.
The actor took it to Twitter and shared a note saying, "BIG thx @DebraMessing @Janina @JoshLucas for being such gracious hosts. Handcuffs + humor = winning combo @NBCLaura."
Fans will know more of the character Mann will be playing when "The Mysteries of Laura" premieres.
