Q Rumors about the Kombat Pack 2 of "Mortal Kombat X" are still circulating, and Ed Boon seems to be fueling up those speculations with his recent Twitter posts.
Snaps of Sektor, Alien and the Ninja named Firefox were uploaded on his social media site, with bold letters in grey and white stating, "Straight Outta KP2." Boon posted on Wednesday a photo of an Alien and captioned it, "@JockyRhonson @noobde Is this real life? EB: No, it's not real life. Alien is a fictional character."
The following day, he uploaded a snap of Sektor with caption, "@Italiano62884 @noobde I will tear it up in MKX. Let me in!!! Please!!! EB: Sektor? Is that you? It's me...Dad!"
Just a few hours ago, he added a photo of a Ninja and wrote, "@VoidKillerGamin @noobde Khrome for DLC? EB: How about a Ninja called Firefox?"
The parody posters were interesting primarily because it was the first time that Boon, who commonly shares speculated videos and articles, appeared to acknowledge the possibility of KP2 DLC in an original tweet, according to Design&Trend.
Spawn is also rumored to make an appearance as playable guest character, as per Yibada.
These characters taking part in "Mortal Kombat X" KP2 DLC remains uncertain until NetherRealm Studios makes an official announcement.
Meanwhile, Den of Geek in association with TV Store, had presented "Mortal Kombat: The Movie" at Videology in Brooklyn, New York. The screening happened just this Friday, Aug. 21, which started at 7 p.m.
"Mortal Kombat X" is now available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms.
