MTV's horror-mystery TV Series "Scream" has been keeping fans and viewers guessing on who's the culprit behind the murders.
Realty Today reported a brief recap of "Scream" episode 8 revealed a totally devastated Emma (Willa Fitzgerald) over Will's (Connor Weil) demise. Brooke (Carlson Young) was wounded by the killer and Noah (John Karna) and Audrey (Bex Taylor-Klaus) found a bloody knife inside Seth Branson's (Bobby Campo) classroom leading to his arrest.
Here are 3 things to look forward to in "Scream" episode 9:
1. Brooke thinks that Mr. Branson may be the killer.
In a promo video released for episode 9, Brooke came up with that theory that Branson might be the culprit because after she was pursued by the killer she had a run in with him. But, she brushed off her suspicions about Branson upon learning that he's behind bars when she felt she was being followed.
2. Branson was tied up to a previous murder
After Mr. Branson's arrest, he was crossed-examined by Sheriff Hudson (Jason Wiles) and he was adamant that the knife with Will's blood on it, the one located in his classroom was not his. Sheriff Hudson then confronted him about being captured with Brooke and his spying via webcam which elicited a reaction from Branson. He said, "I wasn't trying to hurt Brooke." To which Hudson replied sarcastically, "Because you care about her, right? I got that."
"Just like you cared about Olivia Finley?"
Branson remarked, "I think I'm going to wait for my lawyer," after Olivia's name was mentioned.
Branson had a relationship with Olivia, a student in another state where he was a college professor. She was later found murdered and Branson was implicated with the crime. When he moved to Lakewood, he changed his name from Seth Palmer to Seth Branson, Fashion & Style reported.
So do you think Branson is the killer? According to Inquisitr, he gave quite a sketchy detail as to why he wasn't around when Brooke was attacked. He said after being locked out when he investigated the noise inside the auditorium while they were making out, he had to find another way in. It sounded suspicious, just the time he needed for him to change into his killer outfit and hid the knife used to slash Brooke's arm.
3. Emma thinks that the real killer is still on the loose.
At the Halloween dance, she teamed up with Piper (Amelia Rose Blair) to search for answers.
Catch "Scream" Episode 9 on MTV at 10 p.m. Tuesday.
