“America’s Next Top Model” Cycle 22 has sent another model hopeful home last Wednesday night, and sadly for Dustin McNeer fans, the 18-year-old North Carolina native was the one who got eliminated after the #NoFilter photoshoot. Dustin, who show host Tyra Banks regarded as a “painted” model with his perfect looks, was unfortunately axed off the competition for not being “high-fashion enough.” Check out McNeer’s revelations after he was eliminated.

The young hottie did an interview with Gossip & Gab, and the latest “ANTM” Cycle 22 evicted model admitted that his early departure came as a total surprise to him. “I knew I wasn’t doing too well in the competition but I figured I was doing better than a couple of other people. I think if I would have made it past this elimination then I would have kept it rolling and done much better,” he said.

McNeer, who has vowed to continue his modeling career and possibly branch out into acting, has been very active on social media, especially on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

In the wake of his elimination, Dustin took to Instagram to share a shirtless snap with inspiring words he quoted from “Terminator: Genisys” actor Arnold Schwarzenegger. “Winning… Your struggles develop your strengths when you go through hardships and decide not to surrender… That is strength,” the caption read.

The former “ANTM” contestant revealed the names of the models he is rooting to win the competition. For him, the current cycle is just between Justin and deaf model Nyle, who has been very supportive of him in the competition and on social media.

Now that he is done with the competition, McNeer revealed that he still communicates with the other “ANTM” contestants on Instagram and Twitter.

“America’s Next Top Model” Cycle 22 airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EDT, on The CW.
